Yes, it’s true. I’ve been published. No, not by Random House or the New Yorker or Popular Mechanics. Though, I do like your line of thinking. I was asked to contribute a piece to the “Mothers of Preschoolers Creekside Church”. What’s that? You didn’t see it on their blog? Don’t’ be silly, work like mine could easily be lifted from the web and stolen. You know, like what Shakespeare did. Here’s a reprint of my work. Enjoy. (Thanks for making me famous Paula
It’s Payton’s job to find Angel each morning (a job she’ll share this year with he 21 month old sister Reese). It’s always a great way to start the morning. Angel must get pretty tired flying all the way back from the North Pole because he shows up in the craziest places — on the top of TVs, inside Kleenex boxes, even inside a bird cage! While the girls love watching Angel and telling him what the want for Christmas, he does have one rule they must abide by: they can’t touch him or he will lose his magic and won’t be able to fly back to the North Pole.
Angel has been a great addition to the family during the holidays. Mom & Dad certainly appreciate the extra set of eyes, but more importantly we treasure the smiles and laughs he brings the family as we hunt for him each morning. In all the busyness of the holidays it’s a nice reminder of the magic that’s inside our home everyday.
